Overview:

Phoston is a distant moon, orbiting the ice giant Hyicn. It's a cold, rocky place with no known life or life signatures as of 2929 A.D. despite it not being a habitable world, scientists find it an interesting world because of its unique nature, extreme conditions and the Human history the moon.

Physical:

Phoston's surface is rough and rocky, consisting of many mountains and craters alongside some more smoother, cliffy parts. The moon covered in lakes and oceans made mainly of liquid ethylene which is pop marked across the surface of the moon. This moon is small and has low gravity. The Moon takes around a little over a Earth day to rotate and takes a month to orbit its parent planet, it has an axial tilt of around 65 degrees but because it host planet being on its side, this makes the moon rotate relatively close to the plane of the star system, like that of a low axial tilted planet.

Atmosphere:

Phoston has a dense atmosphere made of mostly nitrogen with small amounts of ethylene and carbon monoxide in it. The sky is a bluish-purple colour because of both the light from the three stars in the system and also because of the composition of the atmosphere. It's far too cold and the liquid is too exotic for anything to live there naturally, exotic or not (or because the planet is very young).

History:

Phoston formed around 1 million years ago around the planet Hyicn. It's has recently cooled off from its formation period and strangely fast at doing so. Even though the moon itself is not important in the big picture in the Universe, the Humans who had colonized it make it so.
